Where integrations stall
Program data belongs in your systems too
Half an API means half an integration
Plenty of affiliate tools expose a read endpoint or two and keep the real actions behind their own interface
Your ops team ends up back in a third-party dashboard doing by hand what a script should be doing
The public API runs on the same controllers as the dashboard, so what you can click you can call
You find out about changes by going to look
Without events you poll on a timer, which is late by design and spends your rate limit on nothing
A commission gets approved and your billing system, your CRM and your Slack channel all hear about it whenever the next job runs
Subscribe to events and each change reaches your endpoint with the old and new values attached
A delivery fails and nobody tells you
Fire-and-forget delivery means a 500 on your side looks like nothing happened
You reconcile a month later and find the in-product rewards that were never granted
Every attempt is logged and retried on its own, and you can retry it yourself when you need to

Every change in your program is sent back to you
Requests and events
Create a named API key
Keys live in your integration settings and you can name as many as your integrations need. Every request carries the key and your account ID.
Call the surface that fits
Admin handles core program management, Advanced covers deeper configuration and the Affiliate API serves the data your partners see.
Subscribe to the events you care about
Pick from 45 typed events, filter each subscription by campaign, and attach your own headers so your endpoint can authenticate the call.
Watch every delivery land
Delivery history logs each attempt, so a failed one shows up next to the event that caused it.
14-day free trial. No credit card required.
Your automation platform gets the same events
The events on this page reach no-code workflows too. Zapier, Make and Albato connect through prebuilt connectors, and n8n through an official FirstPromoter node.
Prebuilt for Zapier, Make and Albato
Pick a FirstPromoter trigger inside the platform, map the fields you need and the workflow runs on the next event.
The n8n node does it for you
The FirstPromoter Trigger node sets up its own webhook and picks the events your workflow needs, with campaign filtering included.
Building a connector for others?
Ten endpoints create, update, delete and test webhook subscriptions, so a tool you build for other FirstPromoter users can set up its own webhooks in their account.

API and webhook depth
Everything the API covers
Both sides of the program are reachable
Admin handles promoters, referrals, commissions and payouts. Advanced adds campaigns, rewards, products, invoices and payment batches and the Affiliate API serves what your partners see in their portal, including their own sub-ID reports.
45 typed events across eight categories
Events use an entity.action format, from promoter.created through payments_batch.completed, covering promoters, campaigns, referrals, commissions, payouts, payout methods, payment batches and contract documents. Affiliates can point their own postback URLs at their conversions from inside the portal, so their stack hears about a conversion the same way yours does.
Every attempt leaves a record
Delivery history holds the status, response code and body for each attempt, on a 30-second timeout you can change. Failed deliveries retry on their own with backoff or you retry them from the dashboard or the API.
One envelope for every event
Each delivery arrives in the same JSON shape: an event ID for deduplication, the event type, the entity, the full resource and an ISO-8601 timestamp. Updates carry a changes object with old and new values, so you act on what changed without comparing old and new state yourself.
14-day free trial. No credit card required.
